Urho Kekkonen National Park is a short drive from Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in Lapland and is one of Finland’s largest protected areas. Urho Kekkonen was Finland’s longest serving president, from 1956 to 1982, and served as prime minister and held other cabinet positions, dominating Finnish politics for 31 years.
